Welcome to Baráthegyi Guesthouse and Adventure Park. In order to ensure a peaceful, safe and pleasant stay for all our guests, please read and comply with the following house rules. By using the services of the guesthouse, the guest accepts the provisions of the house rules.

1. Scope of the House Rules

These house rules apply to the entire area of Baráthegyi Guesthouse and Adventure Park, including in particular the rooms, apartments, common areas, dining room, wellness area, yard, parking lot and other areas used by guests.

2. Arrival and Departure

Rooms can be occupied from 14:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, please leave the rooms by 10:00. Earlier arrival or later departure is possible only by prior arrangement, depending on availability. Upon arrival, the guest is obliged to provide the data necessary for registration and to cooperate in fulfilling the data provision obligations prescribed by law.

3. Booking and Payment

The terms of booking, advance payment, payment methods and cancellation are governed by the General Terms and Conditions in force at any given time. The guest is obliged to pay the price of the accommodation and the services used no later than before departure. If payment is not made for any reason, the guesthouse is entitled to enforce its claim in accordance with applicable laws.

4. Use of Rooms and Furnishings

The guest is obliged to use the room, apartment, as well as the furnishings and equipment of the guesthouse in accordance with their intended purpose. It is forbidden to take any furnishings, textiles, towels or other equipment from the room or common areas. Please report any malfunctions, abnormalities or incidents to the reception or to the staff of the guesthouse immediately.

5. Liability for Damages

The guest is fully liable for any damages caused by him/her, or by persons, children or pets brought with permission. The person causing the damage is obliged to compensate for damages resulting from improper use, vandalism or negligence.

6. Quiet Hours

The quiet hours in the guesthouse are every day between 22:00 and 08:00, except in the case of events or programs organized or authorized by the guesthouse. We ask our guests to avoid loud music, shouting and any activity that may disturb the peace of other guests during this period. Regardless of the time, any behavior that violates the peace, safety or privacy of others, or is capable of intimidating or harassing others, is prohibited on the premises of the guesthouse. The staff of the guesthouse are entitled to warn the disruptive or noisy guest.

7. Smoking

The guesthouse is a non-smoking accommodation. Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes are prohibited in the enclosed areas, rooms, apartments and common areas of the guesthouse. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. If the guest smokes in the room or in the building, the guesthouse is entitled to ask the guest to stop the violation, and in serious or repeated cases, to terminate the stay. The cost of extraordinary cleaning or damage resulting from smoking will be borne by the guest.

8. Fire and Accident Prevention

The use of open flames, candles, incense, and unauthorized electric heating or cooking appliances is prohibited in the rooms and enclosed areas of the guesthouse. In the event of a fire, the guest is obliged to follow the posted escape route and immediately notify the staff available at the reception or the on-call telephone number. Fire extinguishers are available on the premises of the guesthouse.

9. Camera System

The guesthouse operates a closed-circuit camera system in the building and its external and internal environment for the safety of guests and the property and personal safety of the guesthouse, which continuously takes and records footage 24 hours a day.

10. Minor Guests

The parent, legal representative or accompanying person is fully responsible for minor guests. The accompanying person is obliged to take care of the supervision of children throughout the entire area of the guesthouse.

11. Receiving Visitors

Guests staying at the guesthouse may only receive external visitors with the prior knowledge and consent of the guesthouse. The guesthouse reserves the right to restrict or refuse the reception of external visitors in justified cases for security, operational or other reasons.

12. Pets

Our guesthouse is a dog-friendly accommodation, therefore pets can only be brought in with prior consultation and permission from the guesthouse. The guest bringing the pet is obliged to ensure that the animal does not disturb other guests, does not cause pollution or damage, and is only allowed to stay in common areas under proper supervision. We charge an extra fee for accommodating pets, which is 2000 HUF / animal / night.

13. Dining and Common Areas

The dining services provided by the guesthouse can be used at the advertised or separately announced times. The guest kitchen can only be used by our staying guests at their own risk. Please hand it over clean after use and pay attention to the intended use. The use of the wellness area, the yard, the parking lot and the common areas is at your own risk, in compliance with the posted information and instructions for use.

14. Wi-Fi

The guesthouse operates a wi-fi system, the use of which is free of charge. The guesthouse does not guarantee the continuous, uninterrupted operation and availability of wi-fi. The use of the service is at the guest’s own risk.

15. Safekeeping of Valuables

A safe is available in every room for the safekeeping of our guests’ valuables. The guesthouse is not responsible for valuables left unattended in the room or in the common areas.

16. Parking

We provide free parking for staying guests, depending on availability, in the guesthouse’s own, unguarded parking lot. The guesthouse is not responsible for damage to vehicles parked in the parking lot.

17. Lost and Found

Please hand in any items found on the premises of the guesthouse at the reception. If lost items are found, the guesthouse will proceed in a manner agreed with the guest.

18. Refusal of Service

The guesthouse is entitled to refuse to provide the service or to ask the guest to leave the guesthouse if the guest:

  • seriously or repeatedly violates the house rules,
  • disturbs the peace of other guests,
  • behaves aggressively, threateningly or offensively,
  • is under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances,
  • endangers the equipment, operation or safety of others in the guesthouse.

19. Complaint Handling

The guest can report his/her comments and complaints in person, in writing or through the official contact details of the guesthouse. The guesthouse will investigate, record and respond to complaints in accordance with applicable regulations.

20. Data Management

The guesthouse handles the personal data of guests in accordance with applicable laws and the data management information in force at all times. The guesthouse will only provide information to third parties about the guest’s current, past or future stay with the guest’s prior written consent, unless otherwise provided by law.

21. Closing Provisions

In matters not regulated in these house rules, the provisions of the guesthouse’s General Terms and Conditions and the relevant legislation shall apply. The guesthouse reserves the right to amend the house rules. The current house rules are available at the reception and on the guesthouse’s website.
